I’m Shea, a design engineer. I designed and built Smoking Snapshot for an NHS campaign, where it was used 975 times. Right now I’m building a reporting product that’s in pilot with the National Football Museum.

A one-minute calculator that shows people what “only socially” adds up to over a year. People found it through paid social and used it on their phones or on iPads at events.

I start in Figma and Paper, then build with Claude Code and Codex, so clients can click through something real while their feedback can still change it.
At Influential I design and build products for clients and internal tools for the team, like a PowerPoint add-in that puts the brand’s assets inside PowerPoint. Launch isn’t the end of it. When I suspected people were dropping out of Smoking Snapshot before the last questions, I added save points earlier so their answers still counted.
I build things for myself too. I built Brain Dump because I kept losing track of things across too many apps. I’ve also made my own dictation app, and a wallpaper that swaps in a different museum painting every morning. Winslow Homer’s The Herring Net is the one I keep coming back to.
